Other women writers worth looking into are Alexis Wright, Melissa Lucashenko, Chloe Hooper, Felicity McLean, Alice Bishop, Kavita Bedford, and Josephine Rowe. As for the men, don't miss Peter Carey, Tim Winton, Richard Flanagan, Trent Dalton, Steve Toltz, Max Barry, Peter Temple, David Malouf, Rohan Wilson, and Chris Womersley.
