Short Story Month recommendations: THE LOSS OF ALL LOST THINGS
Amina Gautier just won the PEN/Malamud Award for Excellence in Short Fiction, so I’m not the only person who thinks she’s remarkably talented. All three of her collections are consistently outstanding. Her debut, At Risk, won the Flannery O'Connor Prize for Short Fiction. Now We Will Be Happy won the Prairie Schooner Book Prize for Fiction. And her latest collection is probably her best. Gautier keeps going from strength to strength.
